Mission
The mission of the International Archaeology Collaboration Network (IACN) is to promote international cooperation in archaeological and cultural heritage research by connecting researchers, institutions, heritage professionals and volunteers across different countries. The network supports interdisciplinary studies, digital archaeology initiatives and field-based research while encouraging the documentation, analysis and protection of cultural heritage. Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, IACN aims to create an open and inclusive environment for advancing archaeological research and heritage studies.
Vision
The vision of IACN is to establish a global research network where archaeologists and heritage professionals from different disciplines and regions can collaborate, share knowledge and develop innovative research approaches. By integrating digital technologies, fieldwork and interdisciplinary cooperation, the network seeks to create a sustainable research environment that supports the study, documentation and preservation of cultural heritage worldwide. IACN aims to become a dynamic platform where ideas, expertise and data can circulate freely, fostering new collaborations and advancing the understanding of the past.
